Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you supply games on the Kadii? No! To do so would be an infringement of copyright laws.

  • Do I still need the game disks after I back them up on the Kadii? Well yes, but not for use. You must keep your original games in storage somewhere, so as to not to infringe copyright laws.

  • Is my console warranty effected by a modification? Yes, your factory warranty expires as soon as we open your console. If you bought a pre-modified console from us though, your warranty is in tact.

  • What about on-line updates - will they interfere with my modification? They can have that ability however, you can add your mobile number to our Nintendo update watch database and be advised of what's good and what's not. We offer this service for free ;)

  • My HDD has stopped working. What could be wrong?

The system gives you 30 seconds to plug in your Kadii and have it spin up before it times out. A common mistake is to use the wrong usb port. Make sure you have the main USB cable plugged into the bottom port of the Wii. The Kadii requires the looped usb cable for more power, so it can pull power from 2 usb ports.

  • My Game Images aren't loading or are loading very slowly, why?

The game images are stored on a SD card at the front of your Wii, it may be faulty or one of your children might have found another use for it without telling you ;). Check inside the little flap at the front of your console, that is where the sd card slot is. If it is there it may be faulty, please return it to us for checking if you purchased it though us. The higher quality the SD card the faster games images can load.

  • Can I update my Wii with the Latest updates?

We recommend checking with us before taking any Wii system updates. It is potentially possible for a Nintendo update to stop the software

  • Is the software supported by Nintendo?

No, there is no official support for it, or for any of the homebrew applications.

  • Can I buy the software from you?

No, we don't sell the software... the software is open source and available from the net, google is your friend!... as the installation is beyond the skills and /or many users have no time to research it, we offer an installation service and charge for our time.
